Cultural Sense

x. I have a general interest for fashion so I usually use a huge amount of time of my days reading fashion-related articles and watching runway videos. I have a 500GB external hard drive filled with over 200 fashion shows; some of which I consider “gems” since they are extremely rare to find, such as vintage Galliano and McQueen shows. I also use to run a fashion blog a year ago, but it has since been closed since I became extremely busy with my university courses.

x. I love movies and every day I try to watch a movie, old or new. I specifically love musicals and I literally watch West Side Story and/or My Fair Lady once a week.

x. I haven’t been reading lately, but I usually try to read a novel every month. Hopefully I’ll be taking up reading again after my holiday.

I’m reblogging this and making it as a manifesto for myself since I often do this. It’s romantically sad, haha.

I’ve watched The Human Centipede a few times already, but after watching it again earlier this evening I became even more scared of traveling internationally, especially in countries I’ve never been to before. The movie isn’t particularly gory nor did it make me scream out of fear once, but the psychological fear it instilled on me makes me want to vomit. The thought of one traveling internationally for holiday only to be captured and be forced to take part in disturbing medical research is terrifying. Perhaps I’m just having a very off day because I love traveling and I especially want to go to Europe in the near future….

In other less disturbing happenings, I’m extremely ardent about my plans for tomorrow; I have a meeting with classmates at Prince Books, a cafe, and a lunch date with a few friends at Nordstrom. Not entirely sure what I’ll be doing in the evening, but I’m most likely spending it at my cousins’. Exciting.
